Temple College has announced its Fall 2022 lineup of Fine Arts events, which include a variety of readings, theater and music performances, and art exhibitions.

This fall marks the start of a new Associate of Arts degree in Musical Theatre and the reinvigoration of the Associate of Arts in Theatre. As a result, Temple College is producing and hosting its first play in several years. Performances for “All in the Timing,” David Ives’ collection of short plays, will be Nov. 4-5.

Temple College also welcomed two new Visual Arts faculty members, Deric Ence (ceramics) and Jessica Just (photography), who are featured in the Faculty and Friends Art Exhibition, which runs through Oct. 28.

As part of the Temple College Humanities Series, and with funds from a Texas Commission on the Arts grant, the College is hosting Austin-based poet ire’ne lara silva for a Sept. 28 reading event at its EWCHEC – Hutto campus.

“We invite everyone to come and experience the vibrant artistic offerings that Temple College has to offer,” said. Dr. Sara Harris Baker, Division Director of Fine Arts.

Temple College partners with Texas A&M University-Central Texas to offer four tracks of the Bachelor of Music degree and the new addition of upper-level studio arts classes.

All events are open to the public. Some require admission.
