The Temple College Business and Continuing Education Division is now taking registrations for seven healthcare-related courses that will be offered this spring: Dietary Management, Certified Nurse Aide, EKG Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Billing & Coding and Phlebotomy Technician.
Part three of a three-part Dietary Management program will be offered Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 16 and 30, April 6 and 20, and May 4 and 18. This program meets regulatory requirements for training of food service supervisors in nursing facilities and provides the ServSafe Food Safety Certification. The fee for this course is $280.
A Certified Nurse Aide course will be offered Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. beginning March 20 and continuing through July 3. The course fee is $929. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam offered by Pearson Vue.
An EKG Technician course will be offered Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning March 21 and ending June 20. The fee for this course is $1,845.
A Pharmacy Technician course will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning March 24 and ending Oct. 8. The fee for this course is $2,350.
A Clinical Medical Assistant course will be offered Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning March 28 and ending Aug. 29. The fee for this course is $2,895.
A Medical Billing & Coding course will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. beginning March 30 and ending July 27. The fee for this course is $2,139.
A Phlebotomy Technician course will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. beginning March 30 and ending July 1. The fee for this course is $1,829.
