A new mobile app will make it easier for Temple College students and others to connect with college – wherever they are.
The new app, called “TC to Go,” allows students to do things like register for classes and pay their bills from their mobile devices rather than having to come to campus or be at a home computer.
The app also enables students to:
- View their class schedules and grades
- Access faculty and staff contact information as well as important offices
- Find buildings on the campus through interactive maps
- Stay informed about campus news and events
The app can be downloaded for free from both the iStore (for use with iPhones and iPads) or from the Google Play store (for use with Android devices).
Students can sign in to the app using the same username and password they use to sign in to TConnect, the current online student portal.
“We hope this app will be instrumental in helping attract new learners to the college and to better engage our current learners to create a more positive experience at Temple College,” said Dr. Mark Smith, vice president of educational services. Smith led the team that developed the new app, in partnership with the college’s student software provider, Ellucian.
Smith said additional functionality will be added to the app in the coming year.
Anyone who needs help using the new app can call the Help Desk at 254-298-8450 or stop by the first floor of the Watson Tech building.
