Five new members have joined the Temple College Foundation Board of Directors. The new members are Katie Burrows and Alesia Dawson of Temple, Doug Gaul of Hutto, Keith Hagler of Taylor and Tanner Johnson of Belton.

Burrows is a member and former chair of the Temple College Board of Trustees and a former biotechnology instructor at the college.

Dawson is director of the Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.

Gaul is the mayor of Hutto and a former member of the Hutto ISD Board of Trustees.

Hagler is the owner of Taylor Austin Credit and Hagler Ranch and a member of the Temple College at Taylor Foundation.

Johnson is vice president of Central National Bank in Temple.

The new members will serve a three-year term from 2020-2023.

“The nominating committee did an excellent job identifying individuals to serve on the Foundation Board,” said Dr. Evelyn Waiwaiole, vice president of development and executive director of the foundation. “I’m excited to have them join a board that is already comprised of individuals who are passionate about Temple College and the fundraising efforts of the college.”

Current board members who served on the nominating committee were Michelle DiGaetano, Tyler Jermstad and Virginia Leak.
